Latta Harris, LLP, a distinguished accounting firm based in Eastern Iowa, is in search of a skilled Tax Manager. In this pivotal position you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient functioning of our tax department, thereby fostering the growth and success of our esteemed clientele.

Candidates are invited to work from either of our corridor locations:
Cedar Rapids or Iowa City. After an initial onboarding period, a hybrid work arrangement is available.

• Leading tax planning initiatives and executing detailed reviews of intricate tax returns.
• Delivering a spectrum of tax and accounting services, including engagement planning and client communications.
• Playing a pivotal role in nurturing and guiding team members at the staff level, fostering growth and excellence.

• CPA or EA license
• Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience in tax accounting
• Proficiency in managing pass-through entities is essential

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent designation
• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on taxation
• Proficiency in tax software and computer applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
