Accounting Specialist

Are you an accounting professional who thrives on bringing order to the numbers and making an immediate impact? We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support our client's team on a 2-3 month contract assignment during. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping daily accounting operations running smoothly, supporting everything from AP and AR to reconciliations and month-end activities.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments
• Generate invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end close procedures and journal entries
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
• Support expense reporting and coding of transactions
• Assist with special projects and reporting as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding accounting inquiries
