Automotive Detail Porter / Light Detailer – McGrath Chevyland

Schedule: Full-Time

McGrath Chevyland is seeking a reliable and motivated Automotive Detail Porter / Light Detailer to support our busy detail department. This role is essential to maintaining efficient vehicle flow while helping keep daily detail operations running smoothly.

Detail Porters play a key role in the success of the department by assisting with vehicle movement, staging, and supporting the detail team. You'll also gain hands‑on experience performing light vehicle detailing while learning proper detailing techniques and processes from experienced team members.

This is an entry‑level role designed with career growth in mind. As you build your detailing skills, demonstrate reliability, and learn the department's processes, there are opportunities to advance into a Full Detailer position or develop toward a Detail Advisor role. • Pick up and deliver vehicles throughout McGrath Chevyland and nearby dealership locations
• Assist with vehicle flow, staging, and organization within the detail department
• Perform light vehicle detailing, including washing, vacuuming, window cleaning, and preparing vehicles for delivery and display
• Learn proper automotive detailing techniques and processes from experienced team members
• Support Detail Technicians with vehicle preparation and department tasks
• Ensure vehicles are handled carefully and moved efficiently throughout the dealership
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
