- Manage a book of business with a proactive client service approach, ensuring all deadlines and service standards are met
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, producers, and service teams; respond to policy and service questions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners
- Maintain accurate records of policies, renewals, payments, and related documentation
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, tools, and resources to advise and support clients
- Coordinate firm resources (Claims, Legal, Safety, Marketing, Technology, etc.) to deliver on client needs and purchased services
- Assist with marketing, placement, and renewal of new and existing business per established workflows
- Support client lifecycle projects, including preparing materials for recurring client meetings
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance overall client experience
- Travel to client sites, carrier meetings, and regional offices as needed; perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED required
- Two or four-year degree preferred
- Experience managing a book of Employee Benefits accounts required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, basic PowerPoint)
- Prior customer service experience required
- One year with agency management system or CRM preferred, preferably EPIC
- L&H license required
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems effectively
- Highly collaborative and capable of working independently with focus and determination
- Professional, confidential, and ethical work ethic in all situations
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Flexible and adaptable, maintaining positivity and focus in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills and ability to guide others toward success
