Program Finance & Control (PF&C) Manager EV Schedule Analyst
Collins Aerospace is actively seeking a Program Finance & Control (PF&C) Manager EV Schedule Analyst. This position is an individual contributor who participates in the control of costs and schedules on projects requiring validated cost-schedule control systems, meeting objectives and working with team members on schedule analysis, research, and forecasts. Responsible for preparation of forecasts and performance of schedule modeling to develop recommendations for management.
This position interacts with all elements of Collins Aerospace Mission Systems, including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts and Operations and is therefore an excellent position for those who want to be an integral part of a team that is directly responsible for program execution. This position will be working onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.
What You Will Do
- Create and maintain the program Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Work closely with multiple schedulers to roll updates into a Master schedule.
- Tracks plans and schedules, solicits regular updates, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Interact with Control Account Managers (CAMs)/Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to develop intermediate schedules and incorporate them into the IMS.
- Advanced analytics and ownership to assist CAMs/IPTs with awareness of schedule impacts before closing month end
- Participate in the development of proposals including the creation of interim schedules and providing advice for the creation of Basis of Estimate documents.
- Incorporate regular status and forecast updates in the IMS based on inputs from CAMs.
- Conduct thorough critical path and driving path analysis of the IMS.
- Scheduler should have knowledge of schedule risk assessment process (SRA) and be able to complete an SRA.
- Work in parallel with the cost analyst of the program to ensure the cost and schedule are reconciled. Take steps to correct any mismatched items and address root cause.
- Provide required and requested schedule-related reports to Program Management including highlights of schedule-related issues affecting program execution and recommendations for mitigation.
- Support monthly Program Reviews, quarterly EACs, and monthly IPMDAR reporting
- Support ongoing compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Process)
- Ensure the proper implementation of EVMS through the use of standardized processes, tools, reports out on-going compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Process)
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Program controls and EVMS background
- Microsoft Project or Primavera
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with SSI Tools for Microsoft Project & understanding of cross project linking
- Experience with Earned Value Concepts preferred
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts
- Experience presenting to large groups and leadership
