Position: Electrical Project Manager (Data Center Construction)

Tek Pro Engineering is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead electrical construction efforts on high-profile data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, preferably within an electrical subcontractor setting.

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of electrical construction projects for data centers, from planning to final commissioning.

Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Lead project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Prepare and review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards.

Conduct site visits and manage field coordination efforts.

Mentor junior staff and assist in developing project team capabilities.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience managing electrical construction projects, with at least 2 years focused on data centers.

Prior experience working for an electrical subcontractor is strongly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and NEC codes.

Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6).

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
