Responsible for coordinating construction activities on the project, ensuring compliance with schedule, safety, cost, and quality objectives in conjunction with the Project Field Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Provide site construction teams with methods, resources, and staffing for Transmission Line and substation construction.
- Develop and maintain safety programs in collaboration with the EH&S group.
- Create and uphold construction procedures and quality programs for Transmission Line work.
- Support tooling and equipment sourcing and ensure their availability on site.
- Assist in project proposals, staffing, and cost estimates.
- Lead design constructability reviews and support subcontractor development.
- Participate in risk reviews, develop mitigation plans, and resolve on‑site issues.
- Track productivity, progress, and cost; report to Operations, Construction, and Project Controls Managers.
- Develop corrective plans to meet productivity targets.
- Implement Job Hazard Analysis for major erection packages.
- Manage back charges, out‑of‑scope issues, and commercial recovery processes.
- Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
- At least 3+ years experience as a Construction Manager (or equivalent) on Transmission Line projects.
- 8+ years experience with a degree or 18+ years without, in Transmission Line Construction.
- Degree in construction, engineering, or related field or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of budget processes, project controls, risk management, and construction project management systems.
- Strong leadership, conflict management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant experience.
- 5+ years construction supervisory experience required.
- OSHA training required.
- Applicants must be able to complete background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search.

Physical Demands:
- Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, and move in confined, cluttered, or uneven areas.
- Walk long distances and use hands for repetitive tasks.
- Work up to 12‑hour shifts, in varying temperature extremes.
- Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Perform work in heights of up to 5 feet or more.
Work Environment:
- Typical construction site with cramped spaces, awkward positions, and exposure to occupational hazards.
