Wendler Inc. is seeking a Civil Construction Project Manager to lead the successful execution of heavy civil infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest. This role is responsible for managing projects from award through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule, while meeting budget and exceeding client expectations.

Duties/Responsibilities:- Managing all phases of construction projects from handoff through final completion.
- Developing project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasting strategies.
- Leading project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, billing, and change management.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks before they impact the schedule or budget.
- Collaborating with operations and field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
- Reviewing contracts, specifications, and project documents to ensure scope and compliance requirements are met.
- Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Supporting and promoting Wendler’s culture of Safety.
- 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction, infrastructure, utilities, concrete, earthwork, water/wastewater, or related markets.
- Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, and construction operations and sequencing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software.
- Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
