• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience working in construction with a focus on safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Experience in safety metrics reporting.

• Certified Safety Professional certificate or other applicable EHS certifications.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Fundamental understanding of the project management process and basic construction agreement structures.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and problem solving skills.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a member of the Compliance, Security and Risk Management (CSRM), Construction EHS team, you will be responsible for supporting the EHS construction program and team. You will play a critical role by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across data centers and contractors to protect Google’s interests.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of EHS programs and initiatives across a defined area. You will work directly with Data Center partners, general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades and organizations, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve the EHS programs and performance on our projects. You will engage in pre-qualification evaluations of potential vendors, update the project manual, and communicate EHS expectations.

You'll be involved in strategic planning, risk mitigation and on-time delivery. You will be responsible for establishing and tracking a set of performance metrics, developing and implementing best practices including lessons learned regularly reporting out to stakeholders to help the organization scale efficiently.
