Project Manager – Structural Steel Erection

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel erection projects from award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel erection and be comfortable managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, field crews, and client relationships.

Manage structural steel erection projects from start to finish

Oversee project schedules, budgets, costs, and overall performance

Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field personnel

Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements

Coordinate steel deliveries, erection schedules, cranes, equipment, and manpower

Manage subcontractors, vendors, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to management

Monitor project progress and address issues to keep work on schedule

Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

Support project closeout and final documentation

5+ years of project management experience in structural steel erection

Strong understanding of steel erection processes, sequencing, rigging, and field operations

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans

Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Experience working with general contractors and commercial construction teams
