Objective
As an Estimating Intern, you’ll work alongside our seasoned estimators and project managers to support the preparation of competitive bids and cost proposals. This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of mechanical systems, quantity takeoffs, and estimating software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities- Assist in reviewing project drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs for piping, ductwork, and equipment
- Input data into estimating software (e.g., Trimble Auto Bid, Excel)
- Research material and labor costs and update pricing databases
- Help organize bid documents and maintain project files
- Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits (as applicable)
- Support the estimating team with administrative tasks and reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or estimating software is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to real‑world projects
- Most time will be in the office, but some trips to job sites and customer locations are required

- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
