McGrath Chevy in Cedar Rapids, part of the McGrath Family of Dealerships, is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Service Advisor to support our fast-paced service department. What You'll Do

• Greet and assist customers in the service lane with professionalism and care

• Guide customers through the service process, offering clear communication and concierge-level support

• Manage repair orders and coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow

• Present and sell recommended services and maintenance options

• Maintain ongoing communication with customers during service visits

• Help create a smooth, welcoming, and productive service department experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role (preferred)

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Friendly, organized, and energetic personality

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple vehicles and clients

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Work performed at a desk and in the service lane

• Moderate noise level typical of a dealership environment

• Frequent movement around the dealership to complete tasks

• Occasionally lift or move objects up to 20 pounds

• Regular use of hands and fingers for typing and handling materials

• Clear communication required to coordinate with customers and team members
