As a Branch Services Representative, you’ll process transactions, assist members with account management, and educate them on products and services. You’ll also engage in cross‑selling, conduct proactive outreach, and support branch operations while ensuring compliance with regulations. Your role is crucial in enhancing member relationships and promoting financial services.
- Accurately process a variety of transactions for members including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Assist members in the lobby and with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of the day.
- Open member accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit (CDs), and offer full‑family membership.
- Accurately close member accounts.
- Assist members through a Visa application by communicating approval or denial and processing balance transfers.
- Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating personal information and managing account inquiries.
- Educate members on features, benefits, and fees of the credit union and Dupaco products and services.
- Cross‑sell Dupaco Products and services by engaging, identifying, and advocating for digital services.
- Conduct proactive outreach and outbound calls to members as assigned.
- Perform Money Makeovers and Credit History Lessons and identify opportunities to deepen relationships.
- Identify and refer potential leads for specialized services, such as Mortgage Loans, Business Loans, Business Services, Dupaco Insurance Services, and Dupaco Financial Services.
- Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling equipment, machines, balancing, servicing, and reconciling.
- Ensure adherence to all credit union regulations, policies, and compliance procedures.
- Utilize available resources and tools to detect and report suspicious activities and transactions.
- Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay current on Dupaco policies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or equivalent experience.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
