The Office of Student Success and Persistence is seeking a success coach to assist in achieving the recruitment and retention goals of the college. This position provides concierge-level support to currently enrolled Coe students. This role plays a critical component in the student experience from the point of enrollment through graduation.
General Qualifications- 1-3 years of college admission experience desired
- Ability to manage outreach and persistence of assigned student population
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong desire to work with the college student population
- Extensive experience with and understanding of integrated relational database systems like Slate or other recruitment databases
- Quantitative and logical reasoning skills
- An understanding of and passion for liberal arts education
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.
- Valid driver’s license
- Supporting the overall retention efforts of the Office of Student Success and Persistence to achieve an improved retention rate
- Assisting the Office of Admission in their recruitment efforts as needed
- Analyzing data trends and providing reports to assure progression toward student persistence
- Managing the student experience by delivering outstanding customer service
- Provide outreach including inbound and outbound calls, texts and emails to students to ensure they are on a path to successfully matriculate to their desired credential
- Assisting with on-campus recruitment and retention events and programs
- Representing Coe College at public events as needed
- Meet with prospective first-year and transfer students as needed
- Communicating the qualities of a Coe education to key stakeholders such as parents and high school counselors in addition to students
- Weekend and evening commitments
- A consistent dedication to respond to the needs of students in a timely manner
