Job Description
As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for developing HVAC layouts using design documents and equipment submittal data for field application. You will review plans using Revit and AutoCAD, and collaborate with design engineers to address and resolve issues. Additionally, you will compile data for final test result reports.

- Construction and Field Engineering expertise.
- Proficiency in HVAC, blueprint reading, and electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in mathematics.
- Attention to detail and organization in paperwork, with clear and neat handwriting.
- Competence in using HVAC DDC control systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field.
The work is onsite in the CR/IC area, focusing primarily on K-12 and healthcare projects. There is no physical office space; you will report to the project manager on-site. The company offers a secure market as it is one of the three companies in Iowa that performs this type of work. Employees have the opportunity to grow within the company, and there is a history of engineers advancing to project manager roles.
A company vehicle is provided, and once going direct, 90% of insurance costs are covered.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
