Security Clearance

U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance. Active and existing security clearance is required after day 1.

What You Will Do
  • Research, develop, design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, ensuring timely completion with established quality and budget objectives.
  • Prepare engineering drawings or specifications to construct, relocate, or install equipment, facilities, products, or systems.
  • Prepare documentation including proprietary hardware or software specifications, product development information, introduction schedules, product cost analysis, and performance data to track progress.
  • Perform engineering work and applied research to develop new products, meeting quality standards and business objectives.
  • Produce products according to specifications, using the most cost‑effective and efficient means.
  • Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components.
  • Include power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems, and servomechanisms.
  • Work with circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid‑state devices, and video systems.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typical requirement:
    Bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required for a security clearance.
  • Experience with pre‑CAD circuit design, including schematic capture, power, FPGA resource utilization, and background knowledge of PCB stack‑ups.
  • Experience with industry design tools (e.g., Xpedition Enterprise, Cadence Allegro).
  • Experience with mixed‑signal design, including SoCs/FPGAs, A/D and D/A converters, digital down‑converters, digital waveform generators, or mixed‑signal CCAs, modules, and subsystems.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Active DoD security clearance.
  • Recent experience designing 3U VPX and/or SOSA hardware.
  • Understanding of backplane topologies and 3U VPX slot/module profiles.
  • Experience designing digital and analog products, including microprocessor systems, low‑power supplies, and communication subsystems.
  • Experience with signal integrity and high‑speed design.
  • TEMPEST design experience.
  • Working knowledge of EMI/EMC standards for military applications.

Salary Range

USD 86,800 – 165,200.
