Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Engineering Change Specialist serves as the primary SAP EWM expert, supporting and guiding material and warehouse processes. The specialist works closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT, and is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of materials data and KPIs.
- Become Subject Matter Expert in SAP EWM; support system configuration, testing, and front‑end development activities required for launch
- Support definition and setup of inventory control processes, cycle count strategies, and reconciliation methods
- Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to support material master creation, BOM accuracy, and engineering change readiness
- Assist in developing materials‑related KPIs, reporting structures, and standard work
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure materials, data, and systems are production‑ready with respect to accuracy, training, and governance
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3‑5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong SAP experience, with emphasis on EWM and inventory‑related transactions
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with demonstrated root cause analysis capability, high attention to detail and ability to manage data accuracy
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally to achieve common goals
- Ability to support and drive process changes with new product launches, line balancing, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience in related roles
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with 3PL providers
