The Display Products department is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Display Design and In Service Support team. The team includes Electrical Design Engineers responsible for circuit card design, development and test, and In Service Support Engineers who manage LRUs, root‑cause and corrective actions, tech insertions and obsolescence. The manager will mentor the team, support customer business activities such as bids and proposals, and provide technical leadership for avionics display development.

• Familiarity with AMLCDs used for avionics and emerging display technologies.
• Provide technical leadership for a group of engineers to ensure program commitments are met.
• Ensure consistency with Collins Aerospace Engineering Processes.
• Ensure compliance with Program/Product requirements as reflected in design plans.
• Participate in budgetary planning by identifying staffing, facilities, capital, and support needs.
• Manage engineering personnel performance to meet required deliverables.
• Lead a wide range of engineers from entry‑level to highly experienced.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in displays and associated technologies.
• Support the development and upkeep of product roadmaps and participate in industry committees.
• Maintain awareness of technology and company competitive position.

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Successful leadership experience in developing certified flight deck displays.
• Proven record of meeting objectives and commitments.
• Collaboration skills and a collaborative way of working.
• Success in balancing system performance and affordability.
• Strong communication abilities, able to interface from individual contributor to executive leadership.
• Experience with the design and development of avionics displays is desired; electrical design experience is strongly desired.

Salary range: 132,400 USD – 251,600 USD.
