We are looking for a Space Solutions Systems Engineer Architect to join our Multi Domain Datalinks team, which delivers advanced, secure communications systems that enable U.S. warfighters to maintain reliable communications in extreme environments.

What

You Will Do
  • Operate with clarity, drive results, anticipate change, and guide high‑performing teams while demonstrating integrity and accountability.
  • Influence projects to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments while partnering closely with engineering, program management, manufacturing, and customers.
  • Provide technical leadership, oversee design and development execution, and lead customer‑facing activities including proposals, bids, and technical presentations.
  • Travel 25% of the time to partner, customer, and corporate office sites.

Qualifications
You Must Have:
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in systems engineering with extensive experience on new development programs.
  • Experience forming and leading teams of scientists and engineers through the full lifecycle of technology development, balancing the demands of multiple large programs or pursuits and influencing teams to achieve success.
  • Ability to present technical information in presentations, journal papers, and reports.
  • Experience in leading technical teams from concept to pursuit to award for R&D contracts, including serving as a lead author of winning competitive R&D proposals, follow‑on contracts, and work with new customers.
  • Active and transferable Top Secret clearance required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
We Prefer:
  • Successful capture of new R&D contracts from U.S. Government customers.
  • Fluency in multiple commonly used programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C, or C++.
  • A recognized technical leader and subject matter expert regionally or nationally.
  • A strong network of R&D contacts across the Space Customer Base and/or Federal Government.
  • Ability to leverage an extensive professional network.

Salary range: $157,200 – $298,800 USD.
