Embedded Engineer

The Ash Group is hiring an Embedded Engineer for our client, a global technology distributor connecting leading manufacturers of electronic components and computing solutions. This is a 12-month contract working in Cedar Rapids, IA (Onsite) offering a pay rate of $43.50 per hour based on skillset.

  Up to $43.50/hr W2

• Developing high-level and low-level requirements from system requirements.
• Analyze System-level architectural requirements and use them for the design and development of software requirements.
• Providing technical analysis by reviewing the artifacts.
• Development of test cases and execution of test procedures.
• Generation of test results and reports for the execution.
• Develop support utilities to reduce the cycle time and enhance the process.

• Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or EE engineering.
• Must have 4+ years of professional experience in embedded systems.
• Flight Management system (FMF, FUI) / Flight Display system experience is preferred.
• C, Python, C++ (Intermediate exp) is a must.
• DO 178B/C DAL A is required.
• SCA tools (Rapita, LDRA/Vector Cast) is a must.
• Avionics/Aerospace domain experience is highly preferred.
