We are looking for a Space Solutions Systems Engineer Architect to join our team. Our engineering organization develops cryptographic, datalink, and command-and-control capabilities that support the warfighters.
- Operate with clarity, drive results, anticipate change, and guide high-performing teams while demonstrating integrity and accountability
- Influence projects to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments while partnering closely with engineering, program management, manufacturing, and customers
- Provide technical leadership, oversee design and development execution, and lead customer-facing activities including proposals, bids, and technical presentations
- Travel 25% of the time to partner, customer and corporate office sites

Qualifications You Must Have- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in systems engineering with extensive experience on new development programs
- Experience forming and leading teams of scientists and engineers through full lifecycle of technology development including understanding how to balance the demands of multiple large programs or pursuits and influencing teams to achieve success
- Ability to present technical information in presentations, journal papers, and reports
- Experience in leading technical teams from concept to pursuit to award for R&D contracts, including serving as a lead author of winning competitive R&D proposals, follow-on contracts, and work with new customers
- Active and transferable TOP SECRET clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- Successful capture of new R&D contracts from US Government customers
- Fluent in multiple commonly used programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C, or C++
- Known as a technical leader and subject matter expert either regionally or nationally
- Strong network of R&D contacts across the Space Customer Base and/or Federal Government
- Ability to leverage extensive professional network
