The Resilient Connectivity Product (RCP) digital hardware team is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer eager to collaborate with high‑performance teams to create and sustain mission‑critical solutions supporting Mission Systems.
What You Will Do- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and/or circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
- Design circuit cards with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Manage requirements capture and verification for small to medium electronic packaging circuit cards.
- Prepare and present project technical information to peers and internal or external customers.
- Identify and address project and factory problems (root cause) and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful completion and on‑time delivery.
- Perform schematic capture and printed wiring board layout design.
- Facilitate project tasks between cross‑functional integrated product teams to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Expand knowledge of aerospace navigation and communication systems.
- Learn about the RCP organization and the products supporting the Connected Battle Space.

- Design hardware to meet rigorous military requirements for environment, functionality, price, and size, weight, and power (SWaP).
- Experience as a technical or project lead of a team in designing, testing, analyzing, integrating, qualifying, and documenting high‑complexity hardware.
- Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools:
DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX or equivalent. - Experience designing electronic products and tooling for high reliability and extended life applications.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with a STEM degree, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Communications design and simulation experience with tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
- Understanding of Design to Cost (DTC+), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Test (DFT).
- Familiarity with bid, proposal and earned value methods.
- DO‑160 or MIL‑STD‑810/MIL‑STD‑461 qualification.
- Lighting protection circuits and testing experience.
- FPGA development skills.
- Experience in proposal and cost estimation support for hardware pursuits.
- Experience in design support for special test equipment and tooling for IV&V and production efforts.
