Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer (SPE) will lead and manage the most complex process engineering activities for FQT's technologies. This role involves guiding engineering projects from inception through system start-up, optimization, and project closeout. The SPE will oversee a team of engineers, providing mentorship and ensuring the highest quality engineering deliverables.

Key responsibilities include fostering long-term client partnerships, providing mentorship and training to process engineers, applying comprehensive knowledge of FQT's technologies, leading the review of Design Base Engineering Reports and client presentations, overseeing delivery of engineering solutions to clients, leading the selection and application for process equipment and piping systems, leading the development of Engineering Deliverables, leading process startup activities, leading the development of functional documents, leading process modeling efforts across projects, overseeing collaboration with Third Party Engineering disciplines, leading plant trials and R&D efforts, leading participation in Process Hazards Analysis and Hazard and Operability Analysis, leading peer reviews, leading engineering cost estimation, leading project scheduling, and leading and mentoring project teams.

Qualifications include leading problem-solving efforts, communicating with clarity and authority, fostering a collaborative environment, exemplifying strong leadership, demonstrating a proactive approach, maintaining a high level of enthusiasm and focus, consistently delivering complex goals with meticulous attention to detail, and exhibiting a strong initiative to lead and innovate. Technical requirements include a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field, passed FE and PE (Professional Engineering) preferred, 12+ years of practical engineering experience, and mastery of process engineering principles.
