Mid-West firm with history that goes back over 75 years looking to add a Project Engineer to their Transportation Team! Responsibilities include overseeing and performing assigned engineering designs, working with or acting as the Project Manager, QA/QC of assigned tasks to team, working on technical, schedule or financial issues, assisting the Client in bidding or contractor selection, addressing change orders, proposals including the calculation/estimation of time schedules and costs of the proposed work, signing and sealing engineering documents as an authorized representative of the company, and communicating on technical matters with the client.

Cedar Rapids, IA
Education:
Professional Engineer certification required - Must have a Bachelor's (B.S.) or Master's (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
5 or more years of related roadway/highway design experience, Roadway and Transportation Project experience is required, Knowledge of DOT standards and procedures are required, Must be proficient with a civil design package, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station / Geopak, or Inroads.
