Position OverviewLoenbro is looking for a Project Engineer to join the project management team, overseeing and managing the technical aspects of mission‑critical and data center projects. The role requires expertise in electrical engineering and project management to contribute to successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities- Project Planning: collaborate with Project Managers to develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Technical Expertise: use electrical engineering knowledge to design, review, and ensure proper installation of electrical systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Documentation: create and maintain accurate project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordination: coordinate with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Quality Assurance: conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.
- Problem Solving: address technical challenges and issues as they arise during the project, proposing effective solutions.
- Client Interaction: interact with clients to understand technical requirements and provide technical support and expertise as needed.
- 1-3 years of experience as a project engineer, preferably in the electrical construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
- Frequent visits to outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather extremes.
- Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
