The Role:
- You will work closely with the EMI engineering team to support EMI/EMC design and test activities.
- You will create electrical design artifacts including schematics, printed circuit boards (PCB), and circuit card assemblies
- You will perform EMI setup, calibration, and test activities
- You will assist in root cause and failure analysis efforts
- You will generate and review test procedures and reports.
In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Who You Are:
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You possess good organizational skills
- You have the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
Required Education, Experience, &
Skills:
- Must have completed your Senior year of a four year degree program in a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with schematic generation
- Experience with basic test equipment like power supplies and digital multimeters
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, &
Skills:
- Completed your Senior year for a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
- High motivation to solve problems and continuously improve existing products
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Knowledgeable in Electromagnetic Field principles
- Familiar with schematic capture software
- Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, RF amplifiers, and RF Filters.
Full-Time Salary Range: $54631 - $73752
