What You Will Do:- Understand KC-135 systems engineering processes
- Capture, define, allocate, verify and validate system requirements
- Perform and support system tests in a lab environment in both informal and formal test events
- Assist in the collaboration of cross-functional teams to design and implement new KC-135 features
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.
- Ability to be onsite in Cedar Rapids for test events and test environment updates
- Experience with various engineering tools including TNT, DOORS/JAMA, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others is desired
- Experience (military or civil aircraft) in avionics systems, specifically testing and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge / understanding of data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429)
- Experience in a Scaled Agile environment using Jira tracking

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
