Systems Engineer, Test Engineer

Description of Duties- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, software, integration, and test engineers to develop and deliver avionics system solutions.
- Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
- Complete assignments involving Design and Requirement Developments activities
- On-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness, and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases)
- Support requirements development, requirements-based testing execution, test script development, execution of scenario-based, robustness, and unintended function/behavior testing in a lab environment. Flexibility is necessary to maximize test assets utilization.
- Be responsible for the troubleshooting and reporting of issues resulting from development cycles; the candidate will be capable of providing internal status as well as directly reporting to the OEMs as necessary.
- Test script development and execution
- Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure implementations satisfy system requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design artifacts, and test procedures, while incorporating feedback into your own work.
- Assist with system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in lab and development environments.
- Experience with one or more of the following tools/languages is a plus:
Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo, or similar engineering tools. - Exposure to requirements development, verification, testing, or model-based engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) at the system level is required
- Strong understanding of Avionics, aircraft Systems, and Subsystems.
- Prior experience with full development cycles, Avionics certification, and a strong understanding of lifecycle activities and deliverables for Avionics programs.
- Experience working within regulatory environments, including DO-254, DO-160, DO-178B/C, DO-297, ARP
4754A, and FAA/TCCA/EASA standards. - Coursework or project experience related to systems engineering, embedded systems, software development, aerospace, or controls.
- Experience working on team-based technical projects, including design reviews, troubleshooting, or test execution.
The System Solutions team is seeking a Senior/Principal Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in systems engineering principles and experience developing complex aerospace systems. This role will lead the definition, development, and deployment of innovative engineering solutions that improve the systems engineering lifecycle across the organization.
The ideal candidate will combine strong systems engineering expertise with hands-on experience in Dev Sec Ops , engineering automation, and modern development practices.
You will work across multidisciplinary teams to improve requirements management, system architecture, verification, validation, and certification processes while driving the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, toolchain integration, and engineering automation that enable more efficient and scalable engineering solutions.
Experience with aerospace development standards such as ARP
4754, digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is highly desirable.

Qualifications You Must Have:- **** Experience in multiple areas of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, design, integration, verification, validation, and technical documentation. Ideal candidate will have experience across the full development lifecycle for civil certification programs
- **** Experience or familiarity with Dev Sec Ops
- **** Experience with requirements management tools (Jama, Polarion, DOORS)
- **** Develop automation with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power Shell) and thoroughly test implementations.
- **** Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- **** Experience working in aerospace or another highly regulated engineering environment.
- **** Ability to collaborate across teams and work within Eastern Time Zone core and global teams, including India Standard Time
- Hands-on experience applying ARP
