About Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center

Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center isn't just another casino.

It is a bold reimagination of what regional gaming can become when you design for the next twenty years - not the last twenty.

Located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Cedar Crossing blends gaming, hospitality, culinary excellence, live entertainment, arts and culture, and a STEM innovation lab into one integrated destination. Every element of the property is built around a singular brand belief:

Discovery.

Discovery is the idea that our guests are dreamers. They come to explore, to connect, to learn, to celebrate, and yes - to win. We design moments that spark wonderment. From our entertainment venue to our restaurants, from the gaming floor to our Arts & Cultural Center, we create experiences that invite guests to discover something new each time they visit.

We

are building something extraordinary-and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences and bringing great ideas to life. Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Cedar Crossing's marketing initiatives, promotions, special events, and player engagement programs.

Working closely with the Vice President of Marketing, this position transforms strategy into action by creating exciting guest experiences, leading the Ambassador team, driving Discovery Club enrollment, and ensuring every promotion and event is executed with energy, precision, and exceptional guest service.

The successful candidate is an energetic, guest-focused leader who thrives on the casino floor, enjoys building relationships, develops high-performing teams, and understands that every promotion, every event, and every guest interaction is an opportunity to bring the Cedar Crossing Discovery brand to life.

Promotions & Special Events
  • Execute the property's promotional calendar, including drawings, sweepstakes, slot tournaments, gift promotions, and other special events.
  • Coordinate all operational aspects of promotions to ensure flawless execution and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Develop promotional rules and operational procedures that support successful event execution.
Discovery Club & Guest Engagement
  • Lead Discovery Club enrollment initiatives and oversee the Ambassador program, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance.
  • Create an engaging, welcoming environment that encourages guest interaction and builds long-term loyalty.
  • Serve as a marketing resource for guests by explaining promotions, offers, and Discovery Club benefits.

  • Partner with Gaming Operations, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Player Development, and other departments to ensure promotions and events are executed seamlessly.
  • Continuously evaluate promotions and recommend operational improvements that enhance guest satisfaction, excitement, and overall effectiveness.
Leadership
  • Build and develop a high-performing team that delivers exceptional guest experiences with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Foster a positive, energetic culture where ambassadors actively engage guests, celebrate wins, and represent the Cedar Crossing brand with pride.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in casino marketing, hospitality, entertainment, or a related guest-focused environment.
  • Experience planning and executing promotions, special events, player loyalty initiatives, or guest engagement programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing front-line team members.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of casino marketing systems, player loyalty programs, promotional operations, and event execution.
