Client Services Associate – Meals on Wheels (Linn County)
Horizons | Cedar Rapids, IA | Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
What You'll DoIn this role, you’ll be the welcoming first point of contact for new clients. Day-to-day, you’ll handle incoming calls, complete client intakes (Older American Act, Medicaid, and Private Pay), assess eligibility, manage database records, and help coordinate volunteer meal route coverage. You’ll also pitch in as a backup meal delivery driver when needed – so every senior gets their meal.
What We're Looking For- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, databases)
- Valid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to pass a background check
