IT Project Coordinator

Transamerica is organized into three distinct businesses. These include
1) World Financial Group, including Transamerica Financial Advisors,
2) Protection Solutions and Savings & Investments, comprised of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits, retirement plans, and Transamerica Investment Solutions, and
3) Financial Assets, which includes legacy blocks of long term care, universal life, and variable and fixed annuities. These are supported by Transamerica Corporate, which includes Finance, People and Places, General Counsel, Risk, Internal Audit, Strategy and Development, and Corporate Affairs, which covers Communications, Brand, and Government and Policy Affairs.
* Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent experience
* Two years of experience supporting continuous improvement, preferably in internal audit, finance, or administration, or work in consulting or program management
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Analytical skills and attention to detail
* Technical aptitude to work with multiple systems
* Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel and Project
* Service Now or Microsoft Project experience.
* Exposure to structured Project Management toolsets or methodologies – PMI (PMP) or Agile.
* Basic understanding of the insurance and financial services industry.
* Basic understanding of IT principles and their potential impact on business operations.
* Good organizational skills (planning, prioritizing).
* The Salary for this position generally ranges between $56,000 - $70,000 annually.

* Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
