Lead Private Placement Analyst - Aegon AM

Aegon Asset Management (Aegon AM) is a leading global investor managing assets for a global client base, including pension plans, public funds, insurance companies, banks, wealth managers, family offices, and foundations.

The Private Placement team manages the private placement portfolio, sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and monitoring domestic and foreign issuance of private placements at various capital structure levels. The role involves maintaining relationships with agent banks, handling credit reviews, waivers, amendments, and presenting information to clients.

• Originating and monitoring domestic and foreign issuance of corporate and securitized private placements at various levels of the capital structure.
• Underwriting new investments.
• Providing relative value assessments of investment opportunities.
• Monitoring the portfolio.
• Researching and compiling portfolio presentations at the request of clients.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with agent banks in the broadly syndicated market seeking investment opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• Seven plus (7+) years private placement experience or a similar analytical role.
• Developed analytical, structuring, and negotiating skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Possesses creative and independent problem‑solving abilities.

• MBA, CFA, or capital market experience preferred.

The salary for this position generally ranges between $150,000 - $200,000 annually. The range is an estimate and may vary above or below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
