Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized RFP Specialist to join our Retirement team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process, supporting business growth across mid‑market, large market, mega, and pooled retirement plan opportunities. This position offers visibility across the organization and the opportunity to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders, while owning multiple high‑impact projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of RFP responses for retirement plan opportunities including research, analysis, quality control as well as new business and in‑force clients.
  • Collaborate on RFP responses with key contacts across business units and regional offices.
  • Own multiple RFP projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and high‑quality standards.
  • Lead internal strategy discussions to evaluate client needs, key requirements, and positioning.
  • Draft, format, and finalize RFP responses using internal tools and content libraries.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross‑functional partners to gather and validate content.
  • Conduct quality reviews of responses, including peer review and continuous improvement of content.
  • Support a collaborative team environment by providing feedback and contributing to shared deliverables.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.
  • Manage tight deadlines as determined by RFP workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business field or equivalent education/experience.
  • One year of RFP experience or three years of relevant retirement industry experience (e.g., marketing, sales, customer care).
  • Written and verbal communication skills to prepare proposals and consult with contacts.
  • Project management and organizational skills to handle competing deadlines.
  • Problem solving, research and analytical skills to make sound judgments on information provided to prospective clients.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency using MS Word.
