Business Finance Analyst - Remote - MUST reside in Iowa
Candidate must reside in Iowa and hold a valid Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and clean driving record that meets Sevita's insurability policy due to travel at least once a year.
Do you enjoy solving complex business problems with data? Are you looking for a role where your financial analysis directly supports services that improve people's lives? As a Business Finance Analyst, you'll work alongside an experienced finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational analysis. You'll gain hands-on experience while helping leaders make informed business decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
- Build and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and other financial systems
- Partner with operational leaders to explain financial results and support decision-making
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, or a related field
- Valid Driver's License with proof of insurance
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience in healthcare or human services is a plus, but not required
- Salaried Opportunity: $55,/annually
