Account Resolution Specialist

BMO Financial is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to manage and resolve complex commercial banking accounts. In this role, you will analyze delinquent and high-risk portfolios, investigate root causes, negotiate payment solutions, and recommend appropriate remediation strategies while limiting credit losses. You'll collaborate with relationship managers and credit teams, ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations, and document actions accurately. Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage delinquent and high-risk commercial banking accounts
• Investigate account issues and identify root causes of delinquency or disputes
• Negotiate payment plans and resolution strategies with commercial clients
• Recommend remediation actions to minimize credit and loss exposure
• Collaborate with relationship managers, credit, and risk teams on account strategies
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, banking regulations, and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and account notes in banking and CRM systems
• Prepare reports on portfolio trends, risk indicators, and recovery performance
• Support continuous improvement of account resolution processes and tools
