Northbrook Rehabilitation Center is actively hiring a Hairdresser to provide professional hair care services that help residents look and feel their best. As a Hairdresser, you will deliver compassionate, resident-centered cosmetology services in a long-term care setting while building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff. If you are a licensed Cosmetologist who enjoys working with older adults, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact.

• Service-based role where the Hairdresser charges residents directly, with flexible earning potential
• Facility pricing guidelines ensure services remain reasonable and affordable for residents
• Opportunity to build a consistent client base within the community

• Part-Time Days | 1-2 visits per week (schedule to be determined)

• Provide professional hair care services as a Hairdresser, including haircuts and styling for men and women
• Perform beard and mustache trimming and grooming services
• Provide permanent wave (perm) services and hair coloring or touch-up services
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary salon environment
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Deliver services with patience, kindness, and respect while accommodating each resident's individual needs

• Current and valid Iowa Cosmetology License required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
