Rapid Care Innovation Transport LLC is looking for a dependable and compassionate NEMT Driver to join our growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. Responsibilities:- Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities
- Assist passengers with boarding, deboarding, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation in compliance with NEMT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and passengers
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and patient privacy (HIPAA) guidelines
- Manage on-time pickups and drop-offs while adapting to schedule changes as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with wheelchair securement and passenger assistance preferred
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with elderly or disabled passengers
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas is a plus
