National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workforce Development Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position. This role is vital to the success of the Association and is responsible for workforce development outreach, programming, and education that supports both recruitment into the integration industry and training and professional development for existing NSCA member companies and professionals.
This position has a heavy focus on program and project management, as well as fundraising, awareness, education, and relationship building. This position requires an individual who takes initiative and demonstrates excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Nonprofit Management/Program and Project Management
- Manage development of NSCA’s career advancement programs, including all aspects of the internship program, job board, integration industry career awareness materials and resources, education outreach, and curriculum implementation.
- Lead workforce development efforts focused on recruiting new talent into the integration industry, including career fairs, school outreach, and industry awareness initiatives.
- Oversee ongoing professional training programs for NSCA companies, including LMS platform and related education platforms.
- Organize, align, and improve visibility of NSCA’s internal education and business training resources, ensuring offerings are cohesive, accessible, and easy to navigate.
- Donor cultivation and engagement, including NSCA’s Education Foundation fundraising efforts and scholarship programs.
- Assist with annual budgeting for Education Foundation; responsible for budget adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, to support recruiting and staffing needs related to workforce development initiatives.
- Work closely with partners, schools, member companies, and industry stakeholders to advance workforce and education goals.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with multiple individuals inside and outside the organization; ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and relationship building skills.
- Effective and tactful communication (written and verbal) across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt and take on new responsibilities as needed.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates accountability.
- Ideal candidate should have degrees, certifications, or concentrations/majors in public affairs/administration, nonprofit management, philanthropy, and human resources or related fields.
- Knowledge of Systems Integration Industry is a plus.
