Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $47,000.00 Annually
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process and managing onboarding and offboarding activities within the HRIS system. The role also includes maintaining accurate job documentation, supporting compliance, and building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as an overview of key responsibilities of the work for this position and are not all inclusive:
- Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates the Cedar Crossing culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
- Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
- Ensures compliance with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations.
- Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
- Responsible for maintaining all organizational charts, job descriptions, identifying appropriate pay rates and benefit plans.
- Pre-screen candidates and recommend applicants for current and future job openings.
- Manage recruitment functions within the HRIS, including job requisitions, candidate tracking, reporting, and data analytics to support talent acquisition strategies.
- Ensure the recruitment and onboarding process complies with internal policies and applicable laws, including timely and accurate offer creation and extension.
- Plan and coordinate job fairs and recruitment events in partnership with property locations and community organizations.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with workforce agencies, educational institutions, and other recruitment resources across all operating locations.
- Leverage job boards, social media, and community networks to attract a continuous pipeline of talent.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of open positions, hiring priorities, and organizational staffing needs.
- Collaborate closely with property management teams to understand and fulfill their staffing requirements.
- Produce staffing related reports.
- Oversee and execute onboarding processes within the HRIS system, including preparing offer letters, verifying documentation, initiating background checks, and coordinating orientation schedules.
- Assist with offboarding procedures in the HRIS system, ensuring exit documentation, system access removal, and final reporting are processed accurately and timely.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
- Support special projects, employee engagement events, and other HR initiatives as needed.
- Identify and resolve issues within scope; elevate concerns appropriately to the supervisor.
- Coaches, mentors, advocates for the Team Member as well as the company and is a Cedar Crossing champion.
- Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
- Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Associates degree in related field preferred, bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred. Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in recruitment or Human Resources support strongly preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Familiarity with HRIS systems, with a willingness to learn required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Must have ability to:
