• Implement and manage switch, firewall, and router configurations.
• Utilize scripting knowledge and experience with network technologies, services, operations, and associated security practices.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain strict security requirements.
• Design, deploy, implement, modernize, and support scalable network solutions using industry best practices.
• Architect and develop network systems optimized for performance and scalability across multiple computing environments.
• Provide guidance on network resource allocation, utilization, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot network issues effectively, focusing on mitigation and prevention.
• Weekend and after-hours support may be required as needed.

• University degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Must obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification within 3 months of start date.
• Current CCNA Networking Certification (CCNP preferred).
• Proven experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.
• Ability to develop solutions and documentation for complex technical challenges.
• Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity products.
• Expertise in firewall implementation and network security.

• Current CCNP Networking Certification.
• Security+ Certification or equivalent, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs
