What You Will Do:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics solutions for manufacturing operations.
- Analyze large, complex production datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop predictive and diagnostic models focused on manufacturing flow, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and operations to translate business challenges into analytical requirements and solutions.
- Build dashboards, automation, and self-service tools to support real-time decision-making.
- Create and maintain data pipelines, data validation checks, and documentation.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and promote analytics best practices.
- Support strategic initiatives such as digital transformation, factory automation, and process optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years).
- Strong proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and factory performance metrics.
- Experience developing predictive or statistical models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead analytics projects from concept through deployment.
- Experience with cloud data environments (Azure, AWS) or data engineering frameworks.
- Background in electronics, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Lean, SPC for manufacturing operations, or process optimization methodologies (non-quality-driven).
- Experience with MES, ERP, or factory automation systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
