Project Engineers are the drivers behind execution. They connect program leadership with engineering teams, ensuring alignment, momentum, and results. In this role, you will lead and support cross-functional engineering efforts throughout the full design and development lifecycle, helping teams stay focused, coordinated, and moving toward a common goal. On this team, you will play a key role in advancing projects centered on Open System Architectures for the Department of Defense (DoD).
These architectures represent a rapidly evolving set of industry standards designed to modernize how hardware and software systems integrate.
- Work closely with a dedicated team of software engineers to manage work scope across multiple programs
- Work with Integrated Product Team Leads and Program Managers to ensure requirements are defined and understood, risks/opportunities are managed, and schedules/budgets are met
- Work under limited supervision while exercising responsibility in choosing and meeting the technical, financial, and schedule targets of projects
- Perform and manage Control Account Management (CAM) activities
- Manage Integrated Master Schedules for the Dev Sec Ops Scope
- Create bid and proposal efforts in Bid Master Web (BMW)
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Prior experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Prior bid and proposal experience in aerospace & defense industries
- Prior experience with project planning, including Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development using MS Project
- Previous experience in risk and opportunity management
- Scrum master and/or Product Owner experience
- Prior experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in Bid Master Web (BMW)
- Control/Cost Account Management (CAM)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Active Secret security clearance is preferred
- Dev Sec Ops concepts and software tools knowledge
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework
- Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
