Responsibilities
- Deliver, manage, maintain and tune data protection technologies, focusing on DLP solutions.
- Oversight of data protection support functions, including policies, operational issues, training, budget and metrics.
- Manage relationships with internal and external partners to shape tooling strategy.
- Define and maintain oversight of the global cohesive data protection strategy and ensure alignment with other security and privacy programs.
- Drive data protection improvements and coordinate with global stakeholders.
- Complete research, development and implementation of information security initiatives, including policy and technology improvements.
- Create awareness, training materials, and lead activities such as content development and presentations.
- Perform procedural tasks for security assessments, exception and waiver processes, third‑party assessments and classification protection.
- Assist employees and contractors in understanding and following information security policies and procedures.
- Track laws, regulations, and industry requirements related to data protection and privacy.
- Analyze and report on key indicators, dashboards, and improvement plans.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, business partners, and functional stakeholders.
- Provide additional duties as assigned by the department.
- Expertise in data protection technologies and their application integration.
- Broad knowledge across technology disciplines.
- Ability to simplify complex information and explain solutions.
- Experience with current and emerging infrastructure platforms.
- Results-driven with a bias toward practical application.
- Planning and integrative thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated project‑management skills including planning and reporting.
- Experience leading small to medium project teams.
- Four‑year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three or more years of experience with DLP solutions.
- Relevant certifications and training.
- Experience with Big functions, policy setup, correlation sets, classifier setup, Reg Ex, and DSAR applications.
The salary range for this position is typically $92,000–$114,000 annually, with potential for additional annual bonus and other compensation based on performance and company discretion.
