Collins Aerospace – IT Support Specialist (Onsite)

Location:

Cedar Rapids, IA

• Work with one or more of the following technologies: servers, clients, networking, and firewalls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to build strong relationships with customers and peers.
• Assist in driving escalations to resolution and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 infrastructure teams.
• Use technical knowledge and experience to facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets.
• Assist with the implementation of technical solutions for assigned projects.
• Participate in improvement of internal processes (Lean, ACE, CORE).

• Foster relationships with DT peers across the U.S. and communicate effectively with engineering leadership.
• Provide ROI based on project performance.
• Apply knowledge and personal skills to shape projects with loose requirements.

• University degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience (or advanced degree).
• Experience supporting technology in a professional environment (desktop support, server administration, Linux systems support).
• Networking skills (important).
• Compliance frameworks (NIST 800‑53).

• Technology certifications (systems administration, cloud, etc.).
• Security certifications (Secur+, CISSP, etc.).
