Collins Aerospace, Digital Technology, is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. A qualified candidate should have a passion for technology and be excited about finding new ways to add value to our business.

This is an onsite position located in Cedar Rapids, IA. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates if needed.

Responsibilities
  • You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team.
  • You will build strong relationships with customers and peers.
  • You will assist in driving escalations to resolution.
  • You will participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE).
  • You will use your technical knowledge and experience to facilitate resolution of service request and restoration tickets.
  • You will assist with the implementation of technical solutions to support the projects you are assigned.
  • Provide support for the Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is needed day 1 of employment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience supporting technology in a professional environment, secure environment experience preferred:
  • Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, etc.)
  • Networking (important)
  • Compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53)
  • Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+). Active cert preferred.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.)
  • Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral / Secret)
