Customer Success and Learning Systems Supervisor

Position Summary

The Customer Success & Learning Systems supervisor provides leadership and coordination that focuses on the end users' success. The CSLS oversees the district's hardware and ensures a positive experience for all of our stakeholders. A special focus is placed on the student device program, student engagement, library media program, digital learning initiatives, artificial intelligence (AI) integration, and instructional technology. This position supports equitable access to information, technology, and innovative learning opportunities for all students and staff while promoting digital literacy and well‑being, reading, media literacy, ethical AI use, and effective instructional practices across the district.

The Supervisor collaborates with district administrators, technology staff, librarians, library staff, teachers, and instructional coaches to ensure that library services, instructional technology, artificial intelligence initiatives and student devices align with CRCSD’s curriculum goals, strategic priorities, and responsible use expectations.

Salary: $75,000-$90,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide district-wide leadership for Technology Help Desk, Field Support Staff, K12 library media services, digital learning initiatives, and AI integration.
  • Coordinate CRCSD's student computer use, including the development of a student computer taskforce to monitor district-provided student computers.
  • Manage the Help Desk, Technology Facilitator, and Technology Integration personnel.
  • Oversee enterprise CRM/helpdesk solutions; including call handling, issue troubleshooting, incident tracking, and issue escalation.
  • Ensure project work is complete and within budget.
  • Develop and implement a shared vision for library services, digital literacy, instructional technology, artificial intelligence, and student access to resources.
  • Plan professional learning for library staff, and collaborate with supervisor for networking on professional learning for technology staff.
  • Coordinate and support district library staff and library programming.
  • Chair Instructional Resources Reconsideration Committee.
  • Collaborate with curriculum leaders and instructional coaches to integrate technology, information literacy, computational thinking, and AI literacy into teaching and learning.
  • Promote innovative instructional practices including makerspaces, media creation, podcasting, 3D printing, coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Lead district initiatives related to digital literacy and well‑being, media literacy, ethical AI use, and responsible technology use.
  • Facilitate district committees and stakeholder groups related to digital learning, AI implementation, and library services.
  • Monitor emerging trends in artificial intelligence and educational technology and provide recommendations aligned with CRCSD goals and student learning needs.
  • Oversee cell phone contract/distribution.
Student/Staff Device Program
  • Coordinate CRCSD's student device initiative, including deployment, collection, inventory, replacement, and lifecycle planning.
  • Develop and maintain procedures related to student device distribution and return processes.
  • Collaborate with CRCSD's technology staff regarding device imaging, repairs, warranties, filtering systems, cybersecurity practices, and asset management.
  • Assist in developing and communicating policies related to acceptable use, AI use expectations, student responsibility, digital literacy and well‑being, cybersecurity, and device care.
  • Coordinate student and staff training related to proper device use, digital literacy and well‑being, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible AI use.
  • Analyze device usage data and program effectiveness to support continuous improvement.
  • Support equitable student access to devices, connectivity, digital resources, and AI learning opportunities.
  • Oversee EMBI program and all warranty work.
  • Test software applications, create and deploy software packages and routine updates to endpoints.
  • Coordinate and lead device distribution and collection.
