Position: Master Data Management Lead (Hybrid)

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Master Data Management Lead to join their team.

What You Will Do
  • Facilitate and lead the design of scalable multiple MDM solutions that meet multiple business needs.
  • Guide and lead developers with logical and physical MDM data models.
  • Require meeting the demands of multi-domains (Customer, Part, Supplier, Reference Data, and other) solution.
  • Build data quality processes embedded with different phases of MDM domain lifecycle management.
  • Experience in MDM golden records edge condition traceability and enable capturing matching and survivorship rules.
  • Lead building task management workflows.
  • Recommend and design data enriching processes.
  • Work with multiple data owners and data stewards on data curation and task management business process.
  • Ability to guide analysts to build business requirement documents and other MDM artifacts for multiple implementations.
  • Guide development teams with best practices for MDM data inbound and outbound needs.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance Enterprise Lead and Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with technology and data architecture.
  • Ability to work in high demand environment with multiple projects and guide data.
  • Governance process owner and business owners with resource workload balance.
  • Conduct effective technical reviews of data pipelines to ensure quality of information delivery.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members on data management and data services best practices.
  • Support production environments and build mature SOP & KB articles processes.
  • Able to investigate problems to the root cause and then champion the creation and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support building training programs for business and development resource on‑boarding processes.
  • Support supervisor and leadership with KPI’s on MDM metrics.
What You Will Learn
  • You will learn about our data landscape, business processes, governance opportunities for master data, the technology ecosystem, our products and services and business model, our organizational structures and more.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Deep understanding of master data management, data governance, and associated technologies.
  • Proven experience in establishing and operationalizing data management capabilities (not only maintaining).
  • Understanding of data governance and how it relates to successful MDM.
  • Understanding audit and security compliance needs.
  • Experience in working in a multi‑year business transformation program would be a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while balancing priorities and schedules from program management leadership.
  • Experience and proficiency with project performance measurement, tracking methods, and tools.
  • Ability to navigate matrix and clustered environment and build bridges to support business needs.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with multiple ERP’s like SAP (S/4

    HANA), JDE and other is a plus.
  • Capable of switching PMO approaches between classical waterfall and agile. Experience with multiple MDM tools such as SAP MDG, Chain Sys, Informatica, and others.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT/API based integration patterns for data services.
  • Experience working with highest data security environments dealing with data like ITAR, DOD, federal and local compliance needs.
