CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Cloud Operations Senior to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, strong problem‑solving and creative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
This role is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Supports cloud infrastructure, on‑premises infrastructure, and ensuring seamless day‑to‑day operations.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Cloud Operations Senior role:- Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Automate operational tasks and processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Monitor and manage cloud resources to ensure scalability and availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and services in the cloud.
- Perform regular system audits and generate reports on cloud system health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud system issues.
- Document operational procedures and best practices.
- Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
- Manage and monitor on‑premises data center operations to ensure seamless integration with cloud systems.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades on on‑premises data center hardware and software.
- Participate in on‑call rotation.
- 4 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Azure, Cloud Security, Linux using Python or Bash scripting, Power Shell, Docker, Git, Dev Ops, Spacelift, M365 suite, EntraID.
- Hyperconverged systems, Windows and Linux OS, support of both datacenter and cloud environments.
