Job Description Summary
The Senior Data Engineer will support creation of the Book of Record by building AWS-based data pipelines, enabling a single source of truth. The role requires strong AWS expertise, Snowflake / Power BI integration, data quality focus, and ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with other engineers, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment.
- Design robust, reusable, and scalable data‑driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks.
- Automate ingestion, processing, and delivery of structured/unstructured and batch/real‑time data.
- Understand and implement best practices in enterprise data management (master data, reference data, metadata, data quality, lineage).
- Work with ALM, Hedging, Risk, and other stakeholders.
- Navigate competing priorities; adapt to changing requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering, or related field.
- Four years of experience across data engineering, analytics, warehousing, BI, DB administration, and integration.
- Two years of Dev Ops/CI‑CD experience.
- Practical experience with data warehousing and ETL development.
- SQL expertise.
- Creative thinker with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Results‑oriented with a strong customer focus.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Master’s degree in a technical field.
- Understanding of big data and streaming analytics architectures.
- Experience with analytics, ML technologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Relevant certifications (AWS, etc.).
- Programming experience (DBT, Python, Scala, Node.js).
- Snowflake experience.
- Hybrid‑office environment (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays); occasional travel.

Salary range: $95,000 – $115,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. Position may qualify for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and are not eligible for visa sponsorship. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week at one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, IA; Philadelphia, PA;
Denver, CO). Relocation assistance will not be provided.
