Senior Data Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Senior Data Engineer will support creation of the Book of Record by building AWS-based data pipelines, enabling a single source of truth. This role requires strong AWS expertise, Snowflake/Power BI integration, data quality focus, and the ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.

• Work collaboratively with other engineers, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment.
• Design robust, reusable, and scalable data-driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks.
• Automate ingestion, processing, and delivery of structured/unstructured and batch/real-time data.
• Understand and implement best practices in enterprise data management (master data, reference data, metadata, data quality, lineage).
• Work with ALM, Hedging, Risk, and other stakeholders.
• Navigate competing priorities; adapt to changing requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering, or related field.
• Four years of experience across data engineering, analytics, warehousing, BI, DB admin, integration.
• Two years Dev Ops/CI-CD experience.
• Practical experience with data warehousing and ETL development.
• SQL expertise.
• Creative thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Results oriented with strong customer focus.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Understanding of big data and streaming analytics architectures.
• Experience with analytics, ML technologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, etc.).
• Programming experience (DBT, Python, Scala, Node.js).
• Snowflake experience.

Hybrid-Office Environment (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays); occasional travel.

Salary range: $95,000 – $115,000 annually. Eligible for annual bonus per company plan. No relocation assistance provided.
